H2H Rolling Technique

Hello, stampers;

What a wonderful morning celebrating one more challenge over at H2H. We had to create a layout or card using the "rolling Technique".
This is my scrapbook page:
Rolling Technique is simple and easy but has a great WOW effect. It adds dimension and depth to a stamped image. You can use this method to shade an image or add additional color.
Here is how to do it:
** Ink your stamp in one color of ink. Use the lightest shade of your chosen inks.
** Take your stamp and "roll" the edges on a second color of ink. I hold the stamp and just roll it so that the edges pick up the extra ink then stamp it. You can also use a dauber/small sponge to ink the edges of the stamp with the darker color.

The rolling technique was applied onto the leaves I'm using on this scrapbook page. I inked each leaf with Autumn Terracotta, Honey, and Pear; then, I used a dauber to ink the edges of the stamp with Chocolate ink. Each leaf was then stamp on Colonial White CS.

Hope you like this idea and please, feel free to play along with us this week!

Hope you enjoy this card!
