Birthday Card with Art

Hello, friends;

I want to share with you a birthday card I made using the
Art Philosophy Collection:
This is a long card, it measures 9-1/4" x 4".

Recipe:
* (1) 9-1/4" x 8" piece of Kraft CS fold in half on the 8" side to end up with a 9-1/4" x 4 card.
* (1) 9-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Chocolate CS
* (1) 8-7/8" x 3-5/8" piece of newspaper design paper
* Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
* (3) pink flowers
* pink rhinestones
* Art Philosophy Cricut Collection
*stamp set from the same collection
* Blush and Chocolate ink
* Blush, Colonial White, and Chocolate CS
* Ivory Crocheted Ribbon [non CTMH]
* jude twine [non CTMH]

These are the pieces you need to cut using the Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge:
 * six (6) <Banner5> @ 2" Blush CS [p.59 Art Philosophy]
  * two (2) <Banner5> @ 2" Chocolate CS [p.59 Art Philosophy]
   * four (4) <Banner4> @ 2" Colonial White CS [p.49 Art Philosophy]
    * one (1) <Butterfly1> @ 1" Chocolate CS [p.41 Art Philosophy]
 * one (1) <Butterfly1> @ 1/2" Chocolate CS [p.41 Art Philosophy]

Stamp the image using both colors, Blush and Chocolate; cut them in half. Cut in half two Blush and two Chocolate Banner5; keep the other four Blush Banner5 for later.
Adhere the stamped images as pictured, by mixing the colors with the half of the matching Banner5. Adhere the completed piece on a Blush Banner5, from those you have left.

Once you cut the butterflies, make dots using a white gel pen.

Use this photo as a guide to put your card together.

Hope you have fun!

Until next time,

H2H Glitter Challenge

Well, hello there;
I hope each of you had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving Celebration with family and friends.

I had a great time with my family but also spent the majority of my weekend remodeling and getting my craft room ready...I will have pictures when I finish it :0)

But, I do have some photos to share with you today. As you know, every Monday we have a challenge to complete over at the H2H Challenge Blog.

For today, we had to make anything using glitter.

Here is my triangle box:
The box was made from Cranberry CS @ 5-1/2" size [5.5 as stated in the booklet] using the new ARTISTE cartridge from CTMH. I cut a second box from the Pear & Partridge B&T. I put the Cranberry box together; then, from the second box made using the  Pear & Partridge paper collection, I cut 1/4" from one side and from the bottom edge of each panel to make them a bit smaller and use them to enhance the beauty of this box.

The glitter paper used in this box is not from CTMH. I sponged the edges of the glitter strip with Chocolate ink.

The poinsettia was made as follow:
Use the AP cartridge <STAR2> on page 25 and cut the following sizes: 2-1/2", 2-1/4", 2", and 1-1/2" from vellum cardstock [non CTMH]. Then, cut the LAYERS for the same <STAR2> in the same sizes from Cranberry CS. Adhere as pictured; to put the poinsettia together, adhere each size using foam tape.

A Christmas Box for Inking from the Heart...the SCHOOL!

Hi, there friends;
I have been working in different projects that, even when I shared them with the members of my online classes, never had the chance to post them here for you.

Here is a Christmas Gift Box:
I used the Pear & Partridge Paper Collection to make the cover of the box.

Artiste and Art Philosophy Cartridges were used to make the embellishments and "hinges" for the box. Striped Dark Chocolate Ribbon was used to keep the box closed.

I used Cranberry CS to make the box inside and more coordinating designs from the same paper collection .

Hope you enjoy this and you are still in time to join the classes; please click here for more information!

Thanks for stopping by,

H2H Challenge: GRATITUDE

Hello, friends;

Gratitude is an amazing feeling...and showing someone how grateful you are at that person is even a greater feeling.

For today's challenge over @ H2H, we were asked to create something to show gratitude.

A while ago, I made this card but never share it in my blog because the supplies used are not CTMH.

I liked this card so much that I decided to use it as my inspiration to make my card for today's challenge.

Take a look at my new card:

Recipe:
* 6" x 6" card
* 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of black CS
* 2" x 5" piece of black CS
* 1-3/4" x 5" piece of  design paper [non CTMH]
* yellow ribbon
* For Every Ocassion stamp set
 * 1" wide strip of White Daisy CS

To make the flowers, I cut the FLOWER1 using AP on page 21 with the SHIFT option on at the following sizes: 3/4", 1-1/4", 1-3/4", and 2-1/4...cut four pieces of each size to make two flowers...if you only wish to make one flower, then cut two pieces of each size.

I added three jewels/rhinestones on the left bottom corner [can barely be seen on this photo] and the message was stamped on white CS using the For Every Ocassion stamp set.

Here are the rules to participate:

*H2H Challenges are open to everyone! To participate, follow the challenge of the week and post your results to your personal blog or other online gallery.
*Go back to the H2H Challenge blog and direct link to the post in your blog related to the challenge for that week...we want to see your creations!!
