Paper Piecing Technique: Free Tutorial

I made these cards for my twin friends:

Recipe:

*B&T-Dotty for You

*Stamp set-Life is a Tweet [SOTM]

*CS-White and Grey Whool

*Inks-Cocoa, black, Lagoon

*Seam binding ribbon

*Circle punches [2-1/2" and 1/4"]

For the birdie, I used the paper piecing technique.

What is paper piecing?

Paper Piecing is a scrapbook technique which uses patterns to make a pieced design. The pieces of the image are cut out of different papers to make the pieced item more realistic and unique.
